Introduction
Sabine Storage & Operations, Inc. (SSO) is a Houston-based engineering company providing
consulting services to domestic and international clients in the areas of underground storage
(liquids and gases), disposal of waste, and solution mining for mineral exploration and
production (halite and other evaporites).
Depending on the client’s particular needs, SSO can take on discrete project activities, such as
permit applications, due diligence, feasibility studies, geotechnical evaluations or facility audits.
SSO is registered to do business and engineering in several U.S. states.
SSO has long been involved with the Solution Mining Research Institute (SMRI) occupying
positions in the institute’s leadership and Technical Research Committee.
2003 – Sabine Storage & Operations, Inc. (SSO) was formed by the owners of SGT / SGO to
provide engineering and construction management services for underground storage and
pipeline operations.
2022 – SSO re-organized as a consulting company providing services to domestic and
international clients in the areas of solution mining and underground storage / disposal.
