Well Design & Cost Estimating

SSO has extensive experience with the design and cost estimating of water, brine disposal, and storage wells.

AFE-type cost estimates are based on a review of bit and mud records from wells drilled in the area of interest and on the designed casing sized, grades and lengths.

Ongoing drilling, completion, and workover operations allow up to date knowledge of current availability and cost of rigs, tubulars, wellheads, and related services.

SSO has recently finished drilling and completing several gas storage and brine disposal wells at the Spindletop Salt dome.
