Solution Mining Engineer

Mr. Soo has 21 years of experience as an engineering analyst, technician, process engineer and solution mining engineer.  He is responsible for hydraulic calculations, solution mining simulations, review of cavern operational data and history matching, and predicting cavern performance using the Gas Technology Institute’s Salt Cavern Thermal Simulator.  Simulator is also used for inventory verification. He was the process engineering for the design activities for an ethanol technology company for construction in the Midwest.  Mr. Soo has been a member of a detail engineering team for a refinery expansion.  He also has experience in defining, preparing and evaluating refinery chemical treatment bid proposals. He has updated key process measure variables defined by a research engineering firm which help to optimize unit performance for each major process area (Pipestills, FCCU, Coker, etc.).
